The work speaks first

02Structural

When the masonry gives out

A commercial storefront had masonry failing at the pier with the rebar exposed. These are photographs of that job, in the order the work happened: what was found, how it was shored, and what went back in.

  1. Deteriorated masonry with spalled brick and exposed rebar at a commercial storefront pier, before structural repair
    01

    The call

Brick had come off the pier and the rebar inside it was open to the weather. This is what the job looked like on arrival.

  2. New solid-wood support posts installed at a commercial storefront entry to carry the load during structural repair
    02

    Shored

Support posts went in at the entry to carry the load while the failed section was opened up.

  3. New support beam and OSB subfloor installed at the repaired storefront entry
    03

    Rebuilt

A new beam went in, with fresh subfloor decked over it.

05How We Work

How a job runs

Four steps. Most of what goes wrong on a remodel goes wrong because nobody wrote down what was being built before the work started.

  1. The walk-through

    Free

We come out and look at the actual space, not a photo of it. Show us the room, the wall, the lot, or the crack you keep watching. Walking it is the only way to see what sits behind the finish, and it costs nothing whether or not you hire us.

  2. The written scope

    48 hours

Within 48 hours you get the scope and the estimate in writing. Written matters: you can set it beside another bid and read the two side by side, and nobody has to remember what was agreed.

  3. The build

    8 trades

The person who quoted your job is the person you call throughout it. Eight trades, coordinated by one contractor on one written scope, so you keep one point of contact the whole way through.

  4. The final walk

    With you

We walk the finished work with you before anyone calls it done. If something is not right, that walk is when it gets said.
